HBO Hackers Post The Online ‘Game Of Thrones’ Scripts And Demand Millions In Ransom

HBO site hacked earlier, now hackers posted some scripts of Game of Thrones season 7, the hacker used the name of Mr. Smith and at last his purpose to hack to site has come on the screen as he demanded millions of dollars in ransom.


Hackers of the HBO site has demanded millions of dollars in ransom after the posting of some scripts online of Game of Thrones season 7, from network to prevent further such releases.

They posted HBO files on Monday which consists of a month’s worth of emails from Vice President of Network Leslie Cohen for filming programming and five Game of Thrones scripts.

Home Box Office is known as HBO, is an American premium cable and satellite television network, it is owned by Time Warner which is a part of his flagship company Home Box Office, Inc; the network was launched on November 8, 1972.

The main features of this network are to theatrically release the motion pictures and original television series, along with made-for-cable movies and boxing matches, documentaries, and occasional stand-up comedy and concert specials.

Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series, it is created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss; it is adopted from the novel A Song of Ice and Fire which is taken from the series of novels of George R. R. Martin.

The series debuted in United States on 17 April, 2011 and this was filmed in Belfast, United Kingdom, Malta, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Spain, Morocco, and in the United States.

The hackers wanted a ransom from the network as they claimed that they have scripts of one of the upcoming episodes, they threat to release these files and they demanded millions of the dollars from HBO in ransom.
